Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Northstar Cooper City Epoxy Flooring, coopercityepoxyandconcreteflooring.com, hi@coopercityepoxyandconcreteflooring.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Northstar Cooper City Epoxy Flooring website and any flooring or concrete work you hire us to do. By using this site, requesting an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to these terms.

If a written estimate, proposal or contract we give you for a specific job says something different from this page, the written document for that job controls. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us.

The services we offer

Northstar Cooper City Epoxy Flooring is a flooring contractor based in Cooper City, FL. We install and repair epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic and urethane cement floor coatings, polished and stained concrete, terrazzo, overlays and pool deck coatings, and we do concrete grinding, sealing and coating removal. You can see the full list on our home page.

Service descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information. The exact scope, materials and finish for your job are the ones written in your estimate or contract. Results depend on the condition of your concrete, so two floors coated with the same product may not look identical.

Estimates and pricing

We offer free in-person estimates with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, including the size of the area, the condition of the slab and the system you choose.

Some conditions only show up once work begins, such as moisture in the slab, hidden cracks, old coatings that won't come up cleanly or damage under existing flooring. If we find something that changes the scope or cost, we'll stop and explain it to you, and we won't do the extra work until you approve it.

Unless your estimate says otherwise, an estimate stays valid for 30 days. After that, material prices and our schedule may have changed, and we may need to update it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, humidity, material delays, slab moisture or problems on an earlier job can move the schedule, and if that happens we'll let you know as soon as we can and set a new date with you.

You agree to give our crew access to the work area on the scheduled days, with electricity and water available, and to clear out vehicles, furniture and stored items unless your estimate says we'll handle that. You also agree to keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor for the cure time we give you, because walking or driving on a coating too early can damage it.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (754) 206-8021 as early as possible, ideally at least 48 hours before the start date. If we've already ordered special materials or started prep for your job, you may be responsible for those costs, as stated in your estimate or contract.

Payment terms

Your estimate or contract will list the price, any deposit and when each payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the remaining balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause work, hold any warranty or guarantee until the account is paid and charge reasonable collection costs where Florida law allows. If you have a question about your bill, contact us before the due date and we'll go over it with you.

Our guarantee and warranty disclaimers

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with work we did, contact us and we'll come look at it and make it right where the problem comes from our workmanship. Any written warranty for your job, including what it covers and for how long, will be stated in your estimate or contract.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from misuse, impact, dragging heavy or sharp items, harsh chemicals, skipped cure times, cleaning methods we've told you to avoid, flooding, hurricanes or other events outside our control. It also doesn't cover problems caused by the slab itself, such as moisture coming up through the concrete, settling or new cracks in the concrete underneath.

Material makers provide their own product warranties, and those are between you and the maker. Apart from what's written in your estimate, contract or our guarantee, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, to the extent Florida law allows.

Limitation of liability

We carry insurance and take care on every job, but to the fullest extent Florida law allows, Northstar Cooper City Epoxy Flooring isn't responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your garage or business, lost profits or inconvenience during the job.

If we're found responsible for a loss related to a job, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Information on this site is general and may not fit your floor. Don't rely on it in place of an in-person look at your concrete, and we aren't responsible for decisions you make based only on what you read here.

Resolving a disagreement

If you're unhappy with any part of our work or billing, please talk to us first. Call (754) 206-8021 or reach us through our contact page, tell us what's wrong and give us a fair chance to fix it, because most problems get settled with a site visit and a straight conversation.

If we can't settle it between us within 30 days, either of us may take it to a court with jurisdiction in Broward County, Florida, including small claims court where the amount qualifies. You and we each agree to bring any claim individually and not as part of a class action, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they're posted on this page, and they won't change the terms of a job that's already under a signed estimate or contract.

If you keep using the site or book new work after a change is posted, that means you accept the updated terms.
